The Fugitive (1993) Action/Drama 131 min.
Dir: Andrew Davis Stars: Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee Jones, Sela Ward, Joe Pantliano, Andreas Katsulis, Jeroen Krabbe
Blurb: Wrongly convicted of murdering his wife (Ward), a doctor (Ford) escapes and seeks to clear his name while evading a dedicated U.S. Marshal (Jones).
Comments: An intense drama with two heroic protagonists, The Fugitive is a retelling of Les Miserables with Jones as Javert and Ford as Valjean. Jones has the edge dramatically by virtue of his ability to interact with his subordinates, but Ford does a superb job portraying an individual on the run, determined to clear his name and obtain justice for the real villian.
